Branding - 2021

This brand is a personal identity that aims to represent who I am as a professional designer for clients and other designers.

Designing this identity started with specifying words that best describe me as a designer which are flexible, fun, and adventurous. I chose flexible because I adapt to different briefs and approaches, Fun because I like to add a touch of humor to my designs, and adventurous because I enjoy exploring different styles and concepts.

The logo represents my name, Zainab in Arabic. The mainline goes beyond the letter “Zaa” to show how I am fascinated by unusual ideas and always seek something new. The visual elements are representing the designer inside me. The poses reinforce that she's flexible, fun, and adventurous. While at the same time, the variety of poses shows my interest in illustrating characters. Since the visuals are dynamic and fun, I wanted to use calm colors to avoid being childish. and to add the feel of maturity and reliability. I chose dark blue and white as the main colors and orange as the secondary color. Round typefaces were chosen to match the logo edges.
